The Castellón County Council of Castellón County, Spain is now accepting
submissions to their V International Painting Prize. The aim of this
competition is to support and promote young and avant-garde art, and
contribute to the appearance of new talents in the contemporary art scene.

This contest celebrates the ?expanded painting?, that is, work exploring the
relationship and interaction between paint and other media like photography,
video, installation, sculpture and emerging fields. Painting must be the
fundamental element of the work.

This competition is open to artists world-wide. One submission per person.
A submission may be an installation or consist of a series of works. 2D
submissions must not exceed 200cm x 200cm. Grand prize of 60,000 ?.

The architecture of form, time, and space?It is in the act of building that we as humans have claimed our rights to evolution and the reach for the eternal. A building defies and embraces physics by virtue of its size and durability. It stands but for a moment in the great scheme of things, as does a great tree, but in the focus of our lifetimes, it stands forever. In
addition, one gets the sense of building from other manifestations of structure, whether it be conceptual, examining the structure of an idea; or
exploring the relationship between one natural form to another, or a natural form to a man-made one. As you know unicorns are a rare breed and are vanishing at an increasing rate.... In order to preserve the Unicorn, please submit artwork, photographs, and type of media so we can maintain the existence of the rare unicorn. Mural Paint and Design at Aloha Stadium

Looking for artist to paint a Hawaiian Warrior design mural in corridor area
that leads to field entrance. Surface is bare concrete. Area is U-shaped
ramp with three canvas areas, one of which is approximately 50 feet long and
two smaller. Will pay $500 for work, all paint and supplies will be
provided. Artist may sign work. Samples will be required before work is
